The Karate Kid 2.0 is our entry level random orbital polisher designed from the ground up. Featuring an 8mm throw with a standard 5” backing pad, this polisher is perfect for correcting and polishing. The M8 female screw on the shaft of the polisher also provides the flexibility to mount other backing plates.
Dual action random orbital polisher rotates through the momentum created by the high speed orbital motion. As there is no direct link between the rotations and orbit, this makes dual action random orbital polishers the safest tools to use for beginners but also enables effective paint correction.

Gyeon Q²M PRIMER is a very different to most traditional polishes that we all know of. This is a finishing polish that contains SiO2 [quartz] and is suited for finishing paints to help risk any chances of marring the paintwork before the application of your Gyeon Ceramic coating.
It is suggested to use Gyeon Primer as Step 3 from Gyeon Compound and Polish to achieve best results.
Before application of your Gyeon Quartz Coating it is recommended to use Gyeon Prep Surface Cleaner a minimum of 15 minutes after the use of Primer, or alternatively allow 24 hours of Primer to cure before application of your Gyeon Coating without the use or need of Gyeon Prep.
120 ml is enough to complete 2-3 vehicles.
Gyeon Quartz Q²M POLISH is an effective medium polish, designed to leave a hologram-free, deep glossy finish on all paint types. This polish can be used as a single-step for paintwork that only require a little attention or as a second step from Q2M Compound.
Q2M Polish works well on all paint types including the softer Japanese paintwork and will remove any medium imperfections leaving a high gloss finish ready for application of your Gyeon Quartz coating.
Please note: as with all polishes best results are achieved once the surface has been prepared correctly (washed / clayed etc). Areas should be clean, dry and cool – it is advisable to work undercover or in shade, however with good light.

Our quality high pack German foam pads are the best you can find on the market.
The 6 inch Yellow polishing pad has a medium density foam suited for slight to medium paint correction. It is used after cutting to remove heavy swirl marks created when cutting.
The 6 inch White finishing pad is ideal for the application of primer type finishing polishes after general polishing to bring through that gloss and new car shine.
I am very impressed with the Karate Kid 2.0 and the kit supplied. It is a versatile orbital polisher that has the ability to correct serous of paint issues. And I found that it is a price the entry-level detailer can afford, paying for its self in only a few jobs. The rubberised grips make it comfortable and reduce fatigue when using over long periods.
I was interested in getting my car polished professionally and following a quote I received to get it done I thought "I could just buy a polisher for that" and I did.
Super happy with the decision, the Karate Kid 2.0 has been great, easy to use and comfortable. The Menzerna polish worked great also.
I would suggest, if you're getting this kit as a beginner (like myself) get extra polishing discs, I got an additional 3 medium and 3 finnishing ontop of the pads that are included in the pack (saves you having to stop and clean them out after every panel)... also get a clay bar if you havent got one already.
