Solid unit - easy to use and accurate
Paint thickness gauge is very easy to use and gives high accuracy results, was able to see paint thickness differences from Toyota (-90um) to BMW (-120um) through to Porsche (130um). Also identifies substrate material as steel / galv steel / aluminium plus correctly identified resprayed areas. Gauge actually tells you this also. Great to if buying a new car or just obsessing over taking off too much clear :)
Only downside at this price point is no plastic substrates / bumpers. But you need to invest $2k and up for that.
